if x+2y=10 and y+z=20 what is the value of x+3y+z?

Given :

x + 2y = 10 and y + z = 20.

To find x + 3y + z = (x + 2y) + (y + z)

Substitute x + 2y = 10 and y + z = 20 in (x + 2y) + (y + z).

= 10 + 20

 = 30.

The value of x + 3y + z is 30.
