3^2x * 4^x = 6? 

What can I do if the base is different? 
Please leave expression in positive exponent

3^2x * 4^x = 6

Laws of exponents

(3^2)^x * 4^x = 6

 

 

9^x * 4^x = 6

Laws of exponents

(9* 4)^x = 6

 

 

36^x = 6

 

(6)^2x = 6

 

2x =1

 

x = 1/2
