The expression is

(  2 - 3 - 3 -2  ) - 1      =   [ (  1/ 23 ) -  ( 1/ 32  )  ] - 1        [ Since (a) - m =   1 / a m  ]

                                       =   [  1/ 8  -  1/ 9  ] - 1

                                       =   [  (9  -  8) / 72  ] - 1                [ Since Taking out LCM of denominators ]

                                       =   [  1 / 72  ] - 1

                                          =   [  1 / (1/72)  ]                         [ Since (a) - m =   1 / a m  ]

(  2 - 3 - 3 -2  ) - 1    =   72
