What is the area of triangle ABC if angle A is 60 degrees, side b is 40 feet and side c is 20 feet?

Here height c = 20 and b = 40 and A = 60°

The right angle triangle of the area is (1/2)(bh sinθ)

area = (1/2)(40)(20)sin(60°)

Trigonometry table in sin(60°) = 0.8660

area = (20)(20)(0.8660)

area = 346.4 square units.

There fore the area of triangle is 346.4 square units.
