The perimiter of a round cake pan is 37.7 inches.

                                    2r = 37.7

The pan has shape like circle

Area of the circle is     r^2

Now    2r = 37.7

            r = (37.7)/2

           r^2 = [(37.7)/2∏]^2

So, area of the circle is    r^2 =×[(37.7)/2∏]^2

                                               r^2  = 113.16 in^2    ( ∏= 3.14)

Area of the circle is     113.16 in^2
