a)

The given figure is a Rectangle

Observe The grids of the figure

Length(l)  =  4

Breadth (b)  =  3

Area of the Rectangle (A)  =  l X b

Substitute l = 4 and b = 3 in above equation of area

Area  =  4 X 3

          =  12 Sq. Units

b)

The given figure is a Square

Observe The grids of the figure

Side (a)  =  3

Area of the Square (A)  =  a X a

Substitute a = 3 in above equation of area

Area  =  3 X 3

          =  9 Sq. Units

c)

The given figure is a Right Angle Triangle

Observe The grids of the figure

Height (h)  =  3

Base (b)  =  4

Area of the Triangle (A)  =  (1/2) X b X h

Substitute h = 3 and b = 4 in above equation of area

Area  =  (1/2) X 4 X 3

          =  6 Sq. Units

Answer :

a) Area of the Rectangle (A)  =  12 Sq. Units
b) Area of the Triangle (A)  =  9 Sq. Units
c) Area of the Triangle (A)  =  6 Sq. Units
