(2x-1)^2 / (x+1)^2 = 64

(2x-1)^2 / (x+1)^2 = 64

Square root on both sides

√((2x-1)^2 / (x+1)^2) =√( 64)

(2x-1) / (x+1) =+8 or - 8

(2x-1) / (x+1)=8

2x-1=8x+8

6x=-9

x=-3/2

(2x-1) / (x+1)=-8

2x-1=-8x-8

10x=-7

x=-7/10
