Given   f(x) = 3x - 8

          g (x) = x² + 2

           h(x) = 10 - 2x

 

1).g(-2 )= (-2 )² + 3

            = 4 + 3

            = 7

2).g (6) = ( 6 )² + 3

             = 36 +3

            = 39

3). h(10) - f(3) = { 10 - 2 (10 ) } - { 3(3) - 8 }

                     = - 10 - 1

                   = -11

4).h(x²) f(-1) + g(0) = {10 - 2 (x²) } { 3 ( -1 ) - 8 } + 0² + 2

                             = ( 10 - 2x² ) ( -11 ) + 2

                             = 22 x²  -110 + 2

                            = 22 x²  - 108
