1) 5 * 1 = 5

2) 5(x+2) = 5x + 10

3) 2 * 3 = 3 * 2

1.)multiplicative identity property: a * 1 = a.
5 * 1 = 5. question illustrates the multiplicative identity property.


2.)distributive property: a (b+c) = ab+ac
5(x+2) = 5x + 10. question illustrates the distributive property.


3.)commutative property of multiplication: a * b = b*a
2 * 3 = 3 * 2. question illustrates the commutative property of multiplication.
