√[(4√9)+16]?

The expression is √[(4√9) + 16].

Evaluate  innermost expression first, replace 3 by √9.

= √[(4 * 3) + 16]

Apply second operation is multiplication in parentheses or ( ).

= √[12 + 16]

Apply third operation is addition in brackets or [ ].

= √28.

Replace 2√7 by √28.                        [ Since √28 = √(4 * 7) = √(4 * 7) = 2√7 ]

= 2√7.
