The function F(x) = (4x-3)/7

Change F(x) to y.

y = (4x - 3)/7

Interchange x and y .

x = (4y - 3)/7

Now solve for y.

7x = 4y - 3

7x +3 = 4y

y = (7x + 3)/4

Change y to f -1(x) = ( 7x + 3)/4

Inverse function is (7x + 3) /4.
