The equation of the circle in standard form : (x - h)2 + (y - k)2 = r2

Center of circle (h, k) = (2, 5)

Required circle passes through (-3, 5) and (-1, 1)

Substitute (x, y) = (-3, 5) and (h, k) = (2, 5) in (x - h)2 + (y - k)2 = r2.

(-3 - 2)2 + (5 - 5)2 = r2

r2 = 25

Substitute (x, y) = (-1, 1) and (h, k) = (2, 5) in (x - h)2 + (y - k)2 = r2.

(- 1 - 2)2 + (1 - 5)2 = r2

9 + 16 = 25

r2 = 25

So the radius of circle = 5 units.

The circle equation is (x - 2)2 + (y - 5)2 = 25.
