4√3 plus 5√3 = 4√3 + 5√3

Take out common term √3  from Distributive property

4√3 plus 5√3 = √3 [4 + 5]

4√3 plus 5√3 = √3 [9]

4√3 plus 5√3 =√3 [9]

4√3 plus 5√3 =9√3

Therefore A is a right choice.

4√3 plus 5√3 = 4√3 + 5√3

group like terms using distributive property: a(b + c) = ab + ac

=(4+ 5)√3

=9√3
