So I was given with the functions f(x) = 3^x, g(x) = x^2 + 6 

They want me to to set up an a equation with gof , also known as g(f(x)).

The given functions  f(x) =  3^x and  g(x) = x² + 6

gof (x)

= g(f(x))

= g ( 3^x )

= (3^x)² + 6

Substitute formula : (a^m)ⁿ = (aⁿ)^m

= (3²)^x + 6

= 9^x + 6

Solution :

gof (x) = = 9^x + 6
