three over four, times P, to the power of minus one = (3/4P)-1 

A negative exponent just means that the base is on the wrong side of the fraction line, so you need to flip the base to the other side. For instance, "a–2" means "a2, but underneath, as in 1/(a2)".

So, (3/4P)-1  = 1/(3/4P) = 4/(3P)
