The expression is 6 + |5-11|.

6 + |-6|

The absolute value |x| of real number is a non-negative value of the number x. Then |-6| = 6.

= 6 + 6

= 12

Therefore 6 + |5-11| = 12.

The expression is 24 over -|12/(-2)|.
