The median of a finite list of numbers can be found by arranging all the observations from lowest value to highest value and picking the middle one.

60, 60, 62 , 63 , 63 , 63 , 64 , 65, 66, 71, 74, 79 , 82 , 83 , 84 , 85 , 86 , 88, 88, 89 , 93 , 99

The total number of terms = 22

Half of the terms = 22 / 2 = 11

The 11th and 12th terms of the median = 74 + 79 / 2 = 76.5
