Given points are A(-3, 5) = (x1, y1) and B(4, -6) = (x2, y2)

Distance between the two points = √[(x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2]

                                                    = √[(4 + 3)^2 + (-6 -5)^2]

                                                    = √[7^2 + (-11)^2]

                                                    = √[49 + 121]

                                                    = √170 units

Therefore the distance between the two points is √170 units.
