Given equation is -3(x+3) = -3(x+1)-5

Multiply the possible terms

(-3x-9) = (-3x-3)-5

Bring all the terms to one side

-3x-9+3x+3+5 = 0

-3x and +3x will get cancelled

Therefore there is no solution for x
