The system of equations are - 4x - 7y = - 10 ------> (1)

                                             7x + 6y = 5     ----> (2)

Multiply equation (1) by 7 ans equation (2) by 4, then write the equations in column form, then add them.

- 28x - 49y = - 70

28x + 24y = 20

(+)______________

- 25y = - 50

y = 50/25 = 2.

Substitute y = 2 in equation (1).

- 4x - 7(2) = - 10

- 4x = - 10 + 14 = 4

x = - 4/4 = - 1.

The solution of the system is x = - 1 and y = 2.
