Given that 2 cosx secx + 2 cotx tanx

We can write secx = 1/cosx and tanx = 1/cotx

2 cosx (1/cosx)+ 2 cotx (1/cotx)

Cancel the common terms.

2 + 2 = 4

Therefore the value of 2 cosx secx + 2 cotx tanx = 4
