can you find the next number in these questions and tell me what you added, subtracted, multiplied or divided by?
1) 2, 3/2, 4/3, 5/4, . . .

3) 0.45, 0.7, 0.95, 1.2, . . .
4) 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, . . .
5) 2, 20, 10, 100, 50,

2)Given that 1 , 8, 27, 64, 125,

In this sequence the number is getting cubing as

1^3 , 2^3 , 3^3 , 4^3 , 5^3 ....

Therefore the next number is 6^3 = 216.

6)0.4(6), 0.4(6)^2, 0.4(6)^3, . . .

In this sequence the number is getting multiplied with (6)^n

Therefore the next number is 0.4(6)^4

1) 2,3/2,4/3,5/4

It is a series,

To find out the next number add 1 to denominator and numerator of previous number.

First term n = 2

Second term n+1/n = 2+1/2 = 3/2

Third term = n+2/n+1 = 4/3

Forth term = n+3/n+2 = 5/4

Fifth term = n+4/n+3 = 6/5

2) 1, 8, 27, 64,125,...

To find the next number add 1to previous number and then cube it.

first number  is 1

Second number 2^3 = 8

Third number 3^3 = 27

Fourth number 4^3 = 64

Fifth number 5^3 = 125

Sixth number 6^3 = 216

3) 0.45,0.7,0.95,1.2

To find the next number add 0.25 to the previous number.

First number is 0.45

Second number is 0.45+0.25 = 0.7

Third number is 0.7+0.25 = 0.95

Fourth number is 0.95+0.25 = 1.2

Fifth number is 1.2+0.25 = 1.45

4) 1, 3, 6, 10, 15,21

To find the next number add the series in order 2,3,4,5,6,7,.. to the given numbers.

First number is 1

Second number is1+2 = 3

Third number is 3+3 = 6

Fourth number is 6+4 = 10

Fifth number is 10+5 = 15

Sixth number 15+6 = 21

Seventh number 21+7 = 28

5) 2,20,10, 100, 50

To find the next number multiply by 10,10/20 one by one to given series.

First number is 2

Second number is 2*10 = 20

The third number is 20*10/20 = 10

The fourth number is 10*10 = 100

Fourth number is 100*10/20 = 50

Fifth number is 50*10 = 500
