What is the area of a 10cm circle?

My homework has a circle with a line in the middle from the middle to the edge with 10cm beside it and its asking for the area?

Radious of circle = 10cm

Area of circle = pi*r^2

Substitute r =10cm,pi = 22/7 values in formula.

 = 22/7*10*10

 = 3.14*100

 = 314cm^2
