If an event E has n(E ) equally likely outcomes and its sample space S has n(S ) equally likely

outcomes, the probability of event E is image.

To find the number of elements in an event, use the formula for the number of combinations of 47 elements taken 2 at a time.

Number of elements = 87 + 74 + 35 + 70 + 25 + 47 = 338.

To find the number of elements in sample space, use the formula for the number of combinations of 338 elements taken 2 at a time.

Probability of getting both green when two jelly-beans are drawn is image.
