Given points say (x1,y1) = (0,0)

(x2,y2) = (1,-2)

Slope m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

= (-2-0)/(1-0)

= -2

Equation is y = mx

y = -2x

Graph of above equaton.

Draw the coordinate plane.

Plot the coordinate points.

Connect the plotted points neatly.

Then formed line indicating given direct variation equation.
