Given inequlity x-y < 2

Draw the coordinate plane.

Now graph the line x-y = 2

boundary of the graph of the line x-y < 2 is dotted line, it is in red colour.

to find which region is shading, substituute the x = 0, y = 0 in x-y < 2

0-0 < 2

0 < 2

Above statement is true.

So we shade the region containing origin of the graph.

And graph is shaded with green colour.
