Given inequality is 7-5(x+4) < 8-3x

7-5x-20 < 8-3x

Add 3x to each side.

7-5x+3x-20 < 8-3x+3x

-2x-13 < 8

Add 13 to each side.

-2x-13+13 < 8+13

-2x < 21

Divide by each side by negitive 2 and change the symbol.

-2x/-2 > 21/-2

x > -21/2
