Remember Sin^2x+Cos^2x = 1

Left hand side identity =

=Tanx Sinx + Cosx

= Sinx/Cosx Sinx + Cosx

= Sin^2x|Cosx + Cosx

= (Sin^2x+Cos^2x)/Cosx

= 1/Cosx

= Secx

= Right hand side identity
