Diameter of the cylinder (d) = 78cm

Height (h) = 100cm

volume of the cylinder : V = πr2h,

where r = radius of the cylinder and h = height of the cylinder.

Substitute the values of r = d/2 = 78/2 = 39 cm, π = 3.14 and h = 100 cm in the above fomula.

V = 3.14 * 392 * 100 cm3.

V = 477594 cm3

Here the find out the liquid volume of cylinder, so the measurement of volume can be expressed in the liters.

1 L = 1000 cm3 ------> 1 cm3 = 1/1000 L .

Volume in L = 477594 cm3 = 477594 (1/1000 L) = 477.594 L.

The volume of liquid is 477.594 L.

477.594 liters water store in the cylinder.
