The points are p(3, 5) and q(4, 5).

Mid point = [(x₁+x₂)/2, (y₁+y₂)/2]

Substitute the values of p(x₁, y₁) = (3, 5) and q(x₂, y₂) = (4, 5) in [(x₁+x₂)/2, (y₁+y₂)/2]

Mid point = [(3 + 4)/2, (5 + 5)/2]

= [7/2, 10/2]

= [7/2, 5].

The mid point of the segment is (7/2, 5).
