Step 1:

Find the Thevenin equivalent voltage.

1.Open the load resistor.

2.Calculate the Open Circuit Voltage. This is the Thevenin Voltage (VTH).

Redraw the circuit :

Use the source transformation to convert the current sources to voltage sources.

Convert the current source image to voltage source.

Convert the current source image to voltage source.

Step 2:

Now draw the circuit with voltage sources.

Find the loop current.

Apply KVL to the above network.

Step 3:

From the circuit :

Therefore Thevenin Voltage VTH  = - 41.5 V.

Solution :

Thevenin Voltage is VTH  = - 41.5 V.
