Slope-intercept form line equation is y = mx + bm is slope and b is y - intercept.

Step1. First find the slope of the line using slope formula.

m = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

m = (-3 - 4) / (1 - 2) = -7 / -1 = 7

Step2. Next find the y-intercept.

b (y - intercept) value can be found by replacing the x and y coordinate values in the equation with the given points. repalce m = 7 and (x, y) with (2, 4)

4 = 7 * 2 + b

4 = 14 + b

subtract 14 from each side

b = -10

Step3. Write the final line equation.

repalce m =7 and b = -10 in Slope-intercept form line equation y = mx + b

y = 7x - 10
