Standard form of parabola is ax^2+bx+c = 0

Compare the given equation f(x) = x^2+x-30

a = 1, b = 1, c = -30

Axis of symmery is x = -b/2a

x = -1/2*1

x = -1/2

Axis of symmery of f(x) is-1/2.
