Given equation y  = 2(x - 4)^2 + 5/2

To find y intercept substitute = 0 in above equation.

y  = 2(0-4)^2 + 5/2

y  = 2(16)+5/2

= 32+5/2

y  = (64+5)/2

y  = 69/2

y  = 34.5

y  intercept is  34.5.
