Given line equation 5x-3y = 15

To find x-intercept substitute y = 0 in equation.

5x = 15

Divide to each side by 15.

x = 3

To find y-intercept substitute x = 0 in equation.

-3y = 15

Divide to each side by negitive 15.

y = -5

x-intercept is 3 and y-intercept is -5.
