Given lines 6x-8y = 24 and y = 7

First equation 6x-8y = 24

Subtract 6x from each side.

-8y = -6x+24

Divide to eachside by negitive 8.

y = (3/4)x -3

For x = 0 then y = -3

For y = 0 then x = 4

And second equation y = 7 is parallel to x-axis.So there is no x intercept and y intercept is 7.

Observe the graph x -intercept is 4 and y intercept is -3 of 6x-8y = 24.

y- intercept of y = 7 is 7.
