The standard form line equation is Ax + By = C. A shouldn't be negative, A and B shouldn't both be zero, and A, B and C should be integers.

Eliminate the fractions by multiplying the equation with Least common denominator (LCD of 3 and 4 is 12) 12.

12 * 2/3x - 12 * 1/4y = 12 * 6

8x - 3y = 72

Standard form line equation is 8x - 3y = 72
