The standard form line equation is Ax + By = C. A shouldn't be negative, A and B shouldn't both be zero, and A, B and C should be integers.

Eliminate the fractions by multiplying the equation with 2.

2y = 5x + 25

Subtract 2y from each side

0 = 5x - 2y + 25

Subtract 25 from each side

5x - 2y = -25
