Given

2(x + 4) - 7x + 15 = 9x - 14(x - 3) - 12.

Apply distributive property : a(b +c) = ab + ac

                                        a(b - c) = ab - ac.

2x + 8 - 7x + 15 = 9x - 14x + 42 - 12

Group like terms.

- 5x + 23 = - 5x + 30

cancel commmon terms.

23 = 30.

So,there is no solution for x.and the values on each side are to be not equal.
