Slope intercept form of a line y  = mx + b .

Here m  represents slope and b is intercept of y .

Given line 2x + 3y + 6 = 0

Subtract 2x  from each side.

3y + 6 = -2x

Subtract 6 from each side.

3y  = -2x - 6

Divide each side by 3.

y  = (-2/3)x - 2

Slope of the line is -2/3.
