Given line y = 4x - 3

Slope intercept form of a line y = mx +b .

Slope of above line = 4.

We know that perpendicular lines slopes are negitive reciprocal to each other.

Then slope of perpendicular line = -1/4.

4(-1/4) = -1.

So the slope of perpendicular line to given line  would have -1/4.
