Given line 2x - 5y = 13

Subtract 2x  from each side.

-5 = -2x + 13

Divide each side by negitive 5.

y  = (2/5)x - 13/5

Slope intercept form of a line is y  =  mx + b.

Given line slope m  = 2/5.

We know that parallel lines have equal slope.

Perpendicular lines have it's slopes are negitive reciprocal to each other.

So the slope of parallel line to given line  2/5.

Slope of perpendicular line to given line  -5/2.
