The slope m = - 3 and the point (x1, y1) = (- 2, - 5).

Substitute m = - 3 and (x1, y1) = (- 2, - 5) in the point-slope form y - y1 = m(x - x1), where m is slope and (x1, y1) is point.

y - (- 5) = (- 3)[x - (- 2)]

y + 5 = - 3(x + 2).

The point-slope form of line equation is y + 5 = - 3(x + 2).
