Given points say (x1,y1) = (5,-8)

(x2,y2) = (-9,-8)

m = y2-y1/x2-x1

m = (-8+8)/(-9-5)

m = 0

Point slope form is y-y1 = m(x-x1)

y+8 = 0(x-5)

y+8 = 0

y = -8
