Line equation through the two points is

y+4 = 1/2(x+5)

y+4 = 1/2x + 5/2

Subtract 4 from each side.

y = 1/2+ 5/2 -4

y = 1/2x  - 3/2

Required line equation y = 1/2 (x - 3).
