Given fractions are 7/10 and 8/15.

List the multiples of denominators.

Multiples of 15 are 15,30,45..,150,..

Multiples of 10 are 10,20,...,150,.....

Least common denominator of given fractions is 150.

Multiples of 15 are 15,30,45, 60

Multiples of 10 are 10,20, 30, 40, 50, 60

Least common denominator of given fractions is 30

Write the prime factorization of each number.

15= 3*5* = 31*51

10=2*5= 21*51

 

Multiply highest power of  each factor in the either number.

L.C.M =21*31*51    

           = 30

 

Least common denominator of given fractions is 30
