Inequality : 2b - 12 ≥ 13 and 18 ≤ 6y - 12.

The first inequality is 2b - 12 ≥ 13

Add 12 to each side.

2b - 12 + 12 ≥ 13 + 12

2b ≥ 25

Divide each side by 2.

b ≥ 25/2.

Solution set is {b / b : b ≥ 25/2}.

The second inequality is 18 ≤ 6y - 12.

Rewrite the inequality as 6y - 12 ≥ 18

Add 12 to each side.

6y - 12 + 12 ≥ 18 + 12

6y ≥ 30

Divide each side by 6.

y ≥ 30/6

y ≥ 5.

Solution set is {y / y : y ≥ 5}.
