3p /2 - 5p /3 = 1/5

Least common multiple of 2, 3 is 6.

(9p - 10p )/6 = 1/5

-p /6 = 1/5

Multiply each side by 6.

-6p /6 = 6/5

-p  = 6/5.

Multiply each side by negative one.

Solution p  = -6/5.

Check :

3p /2 - 5p /3 = 1/5

3(-6 / 5)/2 - 5(-6 / 5)/3 = 1/5

-18/10 + 6/3 = 1/5

(-54+60)/30 = 1/5

6/30 = 1/5

1/5 = 1/5.
