Given : x = (1/2)t and y = 3t^3 - 1.

Solve x = (1/2)t for t.

t  = 2x.

To eliminate the parameter t, substitute t = 2x in  y = 3t^3 - 1.

y = 3(2x)^3 - 1

y = 3(8x^3) - 1

y = 24x^3 - 1.
