The expression is (x + 2)(x + 3).

Multiply the terms uisng FOIL (First Outer Inner Last) method.

Foil method :

(a+b)(c+d) = \underbrace{ac}_\mathrm{first} + \underbrace{ad}_\mathrm{outside} + \underbrace{bc}_\mathrm{inside} + \underbrace{bd}_\mathrm{last}

(x + 2)(x + 3) = (x )(x ) + (x )(3) + (2)(x ) + (2)(3)

= x2 + 3x + 2x + 6

Combine like terms

= x2 + 5x + 6

Therefore (x + 2)(x + 3) = x2 + 5x + 6.
